My current "service project" is a story all by itself, and truly, if I knew how to write I should write a book. If the story line weren't so REAL it would be hilarious and entertaining, but right now I can't get around disasterous and unbelievable!
Every day is something new and different. I am constantly reminded of how much the Lord helps to keep our lives in order......with some sense of direction and purpose and opportunity to make good choices for our lives. Even when we make bad choices, there is "order" to the process to return to His graces and "fix" whatever we have messed up. I am seeing a first hand experience of how much your life can become a train wreck without His direction.
As things have been topsy-turvy lately, I have thought of a quote by Anne Morrow Lindbergh which reads.
"My life cannot implement in action all the demands of all the people to whom my heart responds."
"My life cannot implement in action all the demands of all the people to whom my heart responds."
Also:
"You will care for more things than you will be able to do things about. Wise selection of causes is one of the highest forms of the use of free agency that there is, and really, one of the ways God tests our basic wisdom and our capacity to love." Neal A. Maxwell
I keep thinking about these things as I work through my "wise selection of causes".
Well, this blog is a little random, but so goes my life right now!
