OK....OK....TIME TO CATCH UP!

During Thanksgiving Tanya updated both mine and Tammy's backgrounds....SOOO I really have to get busy and update my post. I have been up to lots and nothing, if that's possible....I have lots of excuses (see below), but...

We've had a busy Fall, Tammy and Brannon were up for Thanksgiving with Maisie and Addie and Tanya and her kids were here as well. It is so much fun to have all the grandkids together. They all get along so well and have so much fun. As a child I never had time to be with my cousins and I have always felt it important for family. I'm grateful my kids work to make it happen for their children.

Tanya has talked about the big, busy Kanenwisher family and how, even though crazy at times, it really is all about family. Our family isn't near as big as that, but I can vouch for the "all about family". When all is said and done, there really isn't anything as important.

Right after Thanksgiving (Black Friday) Tanya, Tammy and I joined the frenzy in Missoula and braved Wal-mart, Target, etc. Being Missoula, it wasn't as bad as many places, and we did find some good bargins. None of us had "door buster" items to find so we were able to be a bit more relaxed about the whole adventure.

As you will see by the pixs, hunting has also been a busy part of our Fall.....well, for Jeff anyway. For me it has just been about processing the meat! I can't tell you how many animals I have helped Jeff butcher and wrap over the years. This year we processing over 70 pounds of hamburger alone! And that was before the four deer in the picture. (Those are deer from a friend who didn't have the time to take care of them, so Jeff volunteered).

For the New news.....I have been hired by EMSI, the company Jeff works for, to be one of their Logistical Support Cadre.....really a fancy name for their secretary/go to gal....

The "plan" is that I would travel with Jeff when he instructs, but so far the "plan" hasn't worked out so well. I go to Yorktown, VA this week for five days while Jeff stays home. It looks like I will be going separately from Jeff in January as well. It really is a great job in that we pick and choose when we want to work, but it has potential to get really busy and big in a hurry. Right now I am a little stressed about all the "new" stuff but hopefully I will get it down quickly.

Interesting places to go and hopefully when we travel together we wil be able to spend a little time on either end to do some sightseeing. Time will tell.

I'm not going to wish everyone a Merry Christmas yet. I plan on blogging before then!
