Well, I can report that I am feeling better about this retirement thing....took a couple days, but I think I will be sane after all.
We have been into our "get organized and cleaned up" mode. No wonder I am loving it! It is really nice to be able to have the time to clean out drawers, organize things and generally know where things are again! The best part is realizing we don't have to get it all done in a day!
TODAY, (I am so proud of myself) I got our Christmas letter written and sent out! I know that sounds a little weird, but I have gotten into the habit of waiting until after the holiday to do them and this year Valentine's Day just seemed to crop up before I knew it! I enjoy re-reading everyone's letters from Christmas. I also found my Christmas letters from years' past and they were fun to read again as well.
Wanted to post a picture of the centerpieces I did for a Relief Society activitiy. Mainly for Tammy since we had this conversation a number of times. Wanted to share the end result!
