MANNHEIM - WOW!

For Christmas this year my wonderful kids bought Jeff and I tickets to a Mannheim Steamroller concert in Spokane. IT WAS AWESOME!

We left at Noon on Tuesday and got to Post Falls and stopped at their new Cabela's (Of course) and then went into the motel. We got dressed and walked through the downtown park, watched the ducks, had a GREAT seafood dinner, watched the Christmas lights and THEN went to the concert.

In the program there are six musicians highlighted....nothing much else so I though ..."o.k., this Chip Davis does mostly Christmas productions so he must have musicians that he sends all over to put on programs during the Christmas season." BOY was I wrong! Chip Davis was there on his "drum throne" (Tanya, you would have loved it!) with his six other musicians that have been with him since he started in 1984. Wow are they talented! His style of music is all electric keyboard, synthesized stuff and what a sound. He had a small orchestra behind him, but the entire second half of the show was just him and his six "friends". They were phenomenal! It was so much fun......and such a great start to the Holiday season! I LOVED IT!

Of course, I left the camera at the motel (hit me over the head with a stick!!!) I was so upset, they had a very large miniature winter village with life-sized wooden soldiers. I would have loved to have a picture of your dad with one of them!

The next morning we got up and went to the Temple, had a late lunch with Uncle Chuck and Aunt Janet (they have not changed at ALL!) and came on home.

It was a GREAT Christmas gift! Wonderful memories. THANK YOU!!!
